Round up your friends and get ready for one of the Scenic Rim’s most popular events, the Kalbar-BQ. Yeeha!
You’ll arrive at the historic Kalbar School of Arts Hall to some laidback tunes, a welcome drink and an array of delicious canapés outside in Hay Bale Lounge. You’ll then ‘mosey on’ inside and kick back for an afternoon of Scenic Rim’s best paddock-to-plate produce cooked masterfully over fire and smoke.
The two-course menu will feature an array of regional specialties, ranging from camel to cauliflower, lamb, pork, and succulent beef, showcasing the finest offerings of the Scenic Rim. To complement the culinary delights, guests can purchase matched beverages from the fundraising bar hosted by the Kalbar Progress Association, including some of the region’s most beloved local wines.
So dust off your boots, grab your hat, gather your friends, and prepare your taste buds for an unforgettable gourmet BBQ experience. This is an event not to be missed!
Please Note:
Dress code is casual, but please keep in mind it can get quite cool in the afternoon. Wear appropriate footwear for both the grassed hay bale lounge area and indoor wooden floors, especially if planning to dance. Guests are reminded to bring their hats as the event commences outdoors.
Scenic Rim Farm Box will also be onsite between 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm. Be sure to order your Best of the Scenic Rim Farm Box which will be available to Click and Collect from the event. Orders will need to be placed prior to 8:00 am – Monday, 3 June 2024 at Scenic Rim Farm Box.
