Would you like to host an event in Scenic Rim Eat Local Week?

We would like to hear from growers, producers, retailers, vineyards, breweries, businesses and groups that produce and use local products.

Scenic Rim Eat Local Week in 2019 will run from Saturday 29 June to Sunday 7 July at multiple locations across the Scenic Rim. The Winter Harvest Festival, Eat Local Week’s Signature event, will be held on Saturday 6 July in Aratula.

SCENIC RIM EAT LOCAL WEEK

Eat Local Week celebrates the food, farmers and natural beauty of the Scenic Rim through a program of festivals, farm gate events and culinary experiences.

The event was launched in 2011 and has grown in size and scale each year.

In 2018, 37,000 visitors attended more than ninety (90) events held right across the region.

All events must display a strong connection to local food and/or food production, wine and brewed products.

More information is available in the Eat Local Week 2019 Application.

WINTER HARVEST FESTIVAL

The Winter Harvest Festival is a one day festival for farmers, producers, locals and visitors to celebrate Scenic Rim’s premium food, wine and craft beer.

The festival aims to take visitors on a taste trip around the Scenic Rim by presenting them with a wide range of locally produced food and beverages, housed in individual marquees/stalls offering their product for sale; tastings of their product; and tasting plates for sale.

We invite applications for stallholders to promote quality Scenic Rim food products. More information is available in the Winter Harvest Festival 2019 Application.

APPLICATIONS CLOSE FRIDAY 1 MARCH.

If you are considering participation in both Eat Local Week and the Winter Harvest Festival, please submit a form for each.
