Country Agricultural Shows
Scenic Rim agricultural shows are a time-honoured tradition celebrating country charm, community spirit, and the region’s rich farming heritage. Generations come together as farmers showcase their finest produce and livestock, while the thrill of carnival rides and woodchopping competitions fill the air with excitement. Clydesdale Spectacular

The Richest Clydesdale Show in the Southern Hemisphere returns to Beaudesert! Enjoy two days of competition, heritage trades, and hands-on displays including carriage and harness classes, whip cracking, and the World Whip Plaiting Titles. Scottish traditions will also be celebrated with caber tossing, pipes and drums – it’s a true celebration of history and horsepower.
Canungra Rodeo
11 July
Giddy up for a full day of action at Canungra Showground! Enjoy barrel racing, bull riding, calf roping, bareback riding, and more, all with instant replays on a massive big screen. Grab a spot on the hill, soak up the atmosphere, and end the day with live music and food vendors on the grounds. One of Scenic Rim’s best one-day rodeo events, this one sells out fast – don’t miss your shot.
Farm Gate Trail
19 July
Meet the farmers, taste the flavours, and explore our region on a self-drive adventure. From cuddling highland cows and strolling through flower fields, to boutique wine and local honey tastings, pack your esky, gather your crew, and hit the trail for a day of deliciousness!
Summer Land Camel Bush Festival
25 July
Dust off your boots and experience true bush entertainment with a day of camels, community and country spirit! Browse 100+ market stalls as you enjoy live music, sip and savour local products, watch cooking demos, and treat yourself to a camel ride, a perfect event for all ages.
Kalbar Country Day & Hay Bale Trail
17 October
A fun-filled day of giant hay sculptures, country hospitality, the famous carrot toss and hay scramble, market stalls, kids rides, fresh local produce, an animal farm, and live entertainment. PS – hop on a bus tour to see the incredible hay bale sculptures!
