DAY 1 — Fri 12 June
Noon – Fri 12 June
The weekend announces itself at Beaudesert Race Club with colourful hats, fascinators, and the kind of good old-fashioned country hospitality that makes a race day feel like an event within an event. The Clydesdale Spectacular Raceday Luncheon pairs a three-course feast by Scenic Rim Food Ambassador Josue Lopez with a five-hour drinks package and the magnificent spectacle of the richest Clydesdale Show in the Southern Hemisphere. Dressed up, well fed, and thoroughly entertained, there is simply no better way to open a weekend in the Scenic Rim. Wear something fabulous!

DAY 2 — Sat 13 June
Noon – Sat 13 June
Blume Signature Dishes Lunch – SOLD OUT At Blume Restaurant in Boonah, the Scenic Rim Food Ambassador and Head Chef Jack Stuart presents an exclusive eight-course lunch of his most celebrated and personal dishes, Beaudesert Red Claw yabby with green tomato beurre blanc and pearls, smoked Chioggia beetroot with Tommerup Jersey crème fraîche and apple marigold. Dishes that exist at the intersection of exceptional technique and deeply local produce. A one-time opportunity to experience Blume’s finest in their entirety and exactly as they were intended. Do not miss this.

As the afternoon softens, make your way to The Overflow Estate 1895, not for an event, simply for the pleasure of it. A glass of estate wine on the terrace overlooking Lake Wyaralong, the mountain ranges catching the last of the afternoon light, the day slowing to exactly the right pace. Stay for dinner if the mood takes you. There are far worse ways to spend a Saturday evening in the Scenic Rim, though it is hard to think of many better ones.

DAY 3 — Sun 14 June
Morning – Sun 14 June
Sunday begins in the dark and rewards you with something extraordinary with Hot Air Ballooning & the Producers Breakfast. By 4:45am you are at O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards, and before long you are above it all, floating over the Scenic Rim’s patchwork of rolling pastures, ancient peaks, and winding country roads as the sun rises and the region reveals itself from an angle very few people ever get to see. When the balloon lands, a producers breakfast crafted from seasonal ingredients celebrates the farming heritage of the land you have just been drifting above. The perfect full stop to a weekend that knew exactly how to make an impression, from the ground up and well beyond it.
