Taste the Mountain - Sip, Savour & Stay
Sat 30 – Sun 31 May
Rainforest dinners, handcrafted spirits, flame-cooked feasts and sweeping valley views. This Tamborine Mountain escape is built for those who believe a great weekend should engage every sense. Three unhurried days where exceptional local hospitality and breathtaking hinterland scenery are always on the menu. Come for the food, stay for the feeling.

2 Days of Meeting the Makers
Sat 30 – Sun 31 May
Shake cocktails with a master distiller, watch the valley glow gold from an open-air concert, and end Saturday at a mountaintop dinner that exists for one night only. Sunday pedals gently between local makers before one last afternoon of botanical cocktails and edible floral bouquets.

Farm Gate Experiences
Sat 6 – Sun 7 June
Esky encouraged. Curiosity essential. From highland cattle to heritage poultry, edible flower fields to fifth-generation farms, this Western Scenic Rim weekend puts you at the paddock end of paddock-to-plate. Feast in the stockyards, go behind the scenes at sunset, and close Sunday aboard a vintage LandCruiser through Kalbar.

Cultured & Crafted
Fri 5 – Sun 7 June
For those who want to know why the wine tastes like this, how the kombucha got that fizz, and what the butcher means when he talks about the cut. Guided tastings, fermentation deep-dives, butchery masterclasses, and artisan cocktails across three technique-led days in the Western Scenic Rim.

Fields of Fun in Every Region
Fri 12 – Sun 14 June
A weekend of occasions, each one worthy of your best hat. Race day at Beaudesert. An exclusive eight-course showcase at Blume. Estate wines overlooking Lake Wyaralong. Then Sunday begins before dawn, floating above ancient peaks in a hot air balloon as the Scenic Rim reveals itself below. Dress for it.

Harvesting & Family Fun
Fri 19 – Sun 21 June
Hand the kids the shovel, the show bag, and the beekeeping suit and watch what happens. Three days of sixth-generation farmland, Queensland’s largest carrot farm, Kalbar Show fireworks, edible flower picking, and golden honey straight from the hive. Every meal tastes better when you helped grow it.

A Weekend for the Senses
Fri 19 – Sun 21 June
This weekend asks you to get involved. Churn butter on a sixth-generation farm, harvest mystery garden ingredients before cooking them into something extraordinary, feast fireside high above the valley, then close Sunday with working beehives and a native rainforest orchard walk as the sun sets over Main Range.

Winter Harvest Weekend
Fri 26 – Sun 28 June
This is how Eat Local Month finishes for 2026. With flavour and flair. A lavender terrace dinner at Kooroomba. A main street transformed into a festival of 60 producers. Fireworks over Kalbar. Line dancing at the Harvest Hoedown. Three days of the Scenic Rim at its most alive. Be right in the middle of it.

Busy till the Bell
Mon 29 June & Tues 30 June
No theme parks, no queues, no convincing required. Two final holiday days built entirely for curious kids, fifth-generation veggie farms, creekside alpaca strolls, and Australia’s largest camel dairy. Tuesday closes with Little Farmer Humpty Day, camel cuddles, face painting, and the most gloriously silly send-off before the school bell rings.
