Talk and Taste Experience

Meet your host, Gen Windley, who will share interesting stories about the property. Choose to enjoy morning tea, lunch or afternoon tea in the shade of their magnificent Jacarandas. Relax and enjoy the serenity of this beautiful, rural location.

Enquire about adding a Farm Walk of a nearby paddock. Guests may pick their own produce and learn about modern vegetable farming in the district.

Elderflower Farm

Elderflower Farm is a boutique flower farm and florist in Kalbar, Queensland, situated in the scenic grounds of the Scenic Rim Farm Shop & Cafe. Operated by Fred and Rachel Watkins, the farm specialises in cultivating old-fashioned heirloom blooms. Explore the group experiences outlined below, and additional group activities are also available upon request. 

Flower Fields Guided Walk

Join Rachel on a wander along the lawn paths between the colourful flower beds. The flowers are mostly annuals, so there is always something new growing and flowering. While on the walk, Rachel will share insights and stories about Elderflower Farm and her current flower crop. After the walk, guests can visit the onsite Old Tin Shed Flower & Garden Shop. Discover loads of fresh cut flowers in bunches, vase arrangements, rustic garden goods and flower-based gifts.

Towri Sheep Cheeses is a family-run, artisan Sheep Dairy and Cheese farm producing award-winning, hand-crafted, sheep milk cheeses. The property boasts 300 acres of scenic rural land, a purpose-built dairy with specialist milking equipment, the Towri Homestead and beautiful gardens.

Towri Sheep Cheeses Experience

Join your Towri Farm guide for a unique sheep milking demonstration and insightful stories about their purpose-built dairy. Next, wander outside to the nearby paddock for an opportunity to feed or cuddle some of Towri’s friendly, resident flock. Learn about the family farm, explore their beautiful French-style garden, then sample the exceptional cheeses produced on the farm.
