DAY 1 — Sat 30 May
Morning – Sat 30 May
Wind at your back and the region’s finest makers waiting to meet you. The Peddly Picnics Ride, Gather & Graze Picnic Trail puts you in the saddle for a self-guided e-bike adventure through the mountain’s winding roads and scenic lookouts. Map in hand, you’ll weave between local distillers, producers and artisans, collecting handpicked treats and tasting as you go. Find your perfect spot, spread out your haul, and let the view do the rest. Fresh, local, and entirely yours.

Noon
From the trail to the tasting bar, the afternoon takes a sophisticated turn at The Loborn Tasting Bar for Modern Apéritifs Cocktail Class. Head distiller Tom Drewett leads you through the world of modern apéritifs, exploring how native botanicals create layers of flavour, balance and bitterness in these distinctly Australian spirits. Sample the full amaro range before stepping behind the bar to shake and craft your own apéritif-style cocktail. Equal parts education and indulgence.
Night
As the light softens and the valley begins to glow, make your way back to Verandah House Country Estate for the Twilight Feast and Luxury Mountain Escape. Chef Gareth Creswell has crafted a multi-course menu cooked over open flames, drawing out the very best of the Scenic Rim’s seasonal produce. Sweeping views across mountain ranges and coastline stretch all the way to the horizon. Settle in, savour every course, and let the evening unfold at its own unhurried pace. There is nowhere else you need to be.

DAY 2 — Sun 31 May
Morning – Sun 31 May
Sunday begins gently, with your hands in the orchard and the mountain air still crisp around you for Citrus Liquer Crafting Workshop
Noon
There could be no more fitting finale to a weekend on the mountain than Beechmont Estate’s Feast in the Fields. Wander freely between roaming food stations, graze on locally sourced seasonal produce, sip regional wines and soak up live music that drifts lazily across the valley. The pace is gentle, the food is exceptional, and the views are the kind you’ll still be describing a month from now. Stay as long as you can. The mountain will make it very hard to leave, and honestly, it should.
As Feast in the Fields winds down, follow the road to Binna Burra where the ancient rainforest takes on a golden, cathedral-like quality in the late afternoon light. A short walk along the track edge is all it takes, cool air, towering canopy, and the sounds of the bush shifting into their evening rhythm around you. No booking, no cost. Just the mountain at its most elemental.
