Scenic Rim crayfish farmer can’t eat his produce

Rob Hutchings is a well-known Scenic Rim crayfish farmer.

He’s been farming the native Australian species on a farm at Tarome since the 1980s. But you won’t find Rob eating his produce … he’s allergic.

He recently told 612ABC how years of handling crayfish led to the allergy and how he once sold crayfish to Europe, Japan and America.
