We challenge you to tick all these taste sensations off your Eat Local Week bucket list.
1.SUMMER LAND CAMEL MILK GELATO
Summer Land Camels’ naturally sweet, multi-award-winning Gelato range is a treat you won’t want to miss. Creamy, naturally low in fat, rich and delicious, you just need to choose a flavour. Will it be vanilla, chocolate, salted caramel, honey and macadamia or mixed berry? We recommend a scoop of each!
Seek out the Summerland Camels stand at Winter Harvest Festival on 2 July, or get a scoop from the source at Camel Milk Skincare | Farm Tours & Camel Rides | Summer Land Camels during Eat Local Week.

We grow around 600 million carrots each year in the Scenic Rim, and some of them get turned into SAUSAGES! Yep, we throw carrot snags on the barbie out here. Sample a sizzling carrot snag at Kalfresh, one of Queensland’s biggest carrot farms, where they grow the BEST CARROTS EVER!
