Kooroomba Vineyard and Restaurant has new owners and they’re keen to embrace the local producers and ingredients grown in abundance on their doorstep.
Kooroomba executive chef Mark Naoum has created a seven-course degustation menu that showcases the Scenic Rim’s best local produce.
The Kooroomba Vineyard Degustation Dinner is being held on Friday July 1 and each course will be matched with a local wine.
The menu will feature produce from Fassifern Valley Tomatoes, Valley Pride Produce, Fassifern Butchers, Lime Caviar Company and Bunjurgen Estate Vineyard.
This is one of the first nighttime events hosted by the property’s new owners and they have plans for many more.
Doogan O’Hanlon says he and wife Verity have recently undertaken some improvements inside the building, including the addition of comfortable lounges by the fireplace.
