Over four hours, you'll help craft a fresh new batch, taste straight from the tanks, and discover the secrets behind her signature brews— all paired with a hearty lunch and plenty of good cheer.
Noon
Enjoy a fabulous five-course Long Lunch by the Lake at The Overflow Estate 1895, hosted by Scenic Rim Food Ambassador Olivier Boudon. Think French flair, local produce and sparkling views—it’s the perfect spot to raise your glass and settle into a crisp, winter country afternoon in the Scenic Rim.
For those keen to see more, drive to Boonah, past the iconic Dugandan Hotel and up to Mount French, there’s a short walk to a breathtaking viewing platform across the region’s patchwork of paddocks. It’s a lovely pre-or post-lunch stroll!
Night
On to your next vineyard! Wrap up day one with a twilight Italian feast (SOLD OUT) at Sarabah Estate. Dinner will be a relaxed soirée, offering a delicious taste of the sweet life.
To rest, check into one of the boutique retreats on Tamborine Mountain for a cozy night in wine country—book at Tamborine Mountain Glades on Cedar Creek with a choice of cabins, luxe experiences and glamping, or opt for the recently opened, The Tamborine, for a pampered hacienda-style stay with spectacular views. While you're there, head to Robert Sowter Park for a sunset that's guaranteed to take your breath away.

Ease into your day with a mountain walk or a garden ramble—Tamborine National Park offers rainforest trails with waterfalls and birdlife, while the Tamborine Botanic Gardens is perfect for a slower stroll and fresh air. Don’t forget your camera—and coffee! Or, arrive early at North Stores for a legendary sausage roll and locally sourced dishes at the acclaimed Picnic Real Food Bar.

Next, venture next door to The Loborn Tasting Bar for a Modern Amaro Tasting with Head Distiller Tom. Sip your way through this uniquely Australian take on the classic Italian apéritif, made with native botanicals and those from Tamborine Mountain. Here’s a fun fact—the name Loborn stands for Locally Born, so those chasing super low food miles, this is your place! The local sips continue at Cauldron Distillery’s all new Spirit of the Mountain (SOLD OUT) event. Enjoy a welcome from the Wangerriburra people, hear their stories, and soak in the sunset with live music by Australian artist Ben Lee and local Brett Gannon, locally sourced dishes, and Cauldron’s exceptional spirits.

Stay another night, and if you're in the mood, head back to Robert Sowter Park for a sunset sip and a takeaway picnic under the stars—toast to the spirit of the Scenic Rim. You're in the heart of wine and produce country, so stay local, sip slowly, and savour every moment.

Start your Sunday slow with a sleep-in then head to Franquette Bakery, where you can indulge in award-winning almond croissants and sourdough toasties. As you enjoy your meal, watch the bakers work their magic, kneading fresh dough through the bakery windows. Afterward, enjoy a relaxed stroll (or gentle hike, if you prefer!) to continue your flavour-filled weekend.

What better way to end the weekend than at Witches Falls Winery for Tacos & Tipples, a relaxed Sunday session with legendary tacos from Scenic Rim Food Ambassador Josue Lopez, paired with over 25 wine and beer options, and vineyard tunes. Just down the (gorgeous road), enjoy the Winter Citrus Spritz Afternoon at Tamborine Mountain Distillery, the country's most awarded distillery, featuring yuzu cocktails, grazing platters, and a chat with the head distiller. Rounding out the finale trio is the Longest Lunch at O'Reilly’s, a lavish creekside feast with bottomless drinks and live music among great company. Spectacular!
