Kick off the weekend on a high note at Boxer Brewing Co. on Tamborine Mountain, where you and your mates will roll up your sleeves for a one-of-a-kind Brewmaster for a Day experience. Learn the secrets of beer-making from Head Brewer Abby Heslop as you help create a fresh new brew, sip straight from the tank, and enjoy a hearty lunch with epic views.

If beer school isn’t your thing, head to The Overflow Estate 1895 for a fabulous five-course Long Lunch by the Lake (Wyaralong) at Roastbeef and The Frog. Scenic Rim Food Ambassador Olivier Boudon will serve up lake views and local produce with a French twist—it’s the ultimate start to a weekend of indulgence, plus take a walk lakeside and record your crew with a view!

Book in at one of the luxe group stays in the region—think farmhouses, vineyard villas, or group cabins. Share a sunset drink on the deck or cozy up at a local pub or wine bar. Think drinks, cheese boards, and plenty of laughter to end the day.

For those staying at Tamborine Mountain, head to Robert Sowter Park for a sunset that’s guaranteed to take your breath away. For those staying around Boonah, take a drive past the iconic Dugandan Hotel and up to Mount French—there’s a short walk to a breathtaking viewing platform overlooking the region’s patchwork of paddocks.

Start your Saturday morning right with a stroll through Main St on Tamborine Mountain, where an array of cafés and coffee shops await. Pop into Picnic Real Food Bar to taste delicious locally sourced dishes, or visit Franquette bakery on Gallery Walk and try their award-winning almond croissants and toasties.

If you’re an adventurer at heart, work off the pastries on the Curtis Falls Circuit (3km round trip) – a fab hike through lush rainforest to beautiful Curtis Falls. It’s a short and easy walk that takes less than an hour to complete.

While you’re on the mountain head to The Loborn Tasting Bar for a Modern Amaro Tasting. Sip your way through this uniquely Australian take on the classic Italian apéritif, made with native botanicals and those from Tamborine Mountain. It’s the perfect pitstop between rainforest rambles and long lunches.

Or experience a true celebration of the rich food culture in the Scenic Rim at the Foraged, Fired and Farmed Lunch (SOLD OUT) in the newly renovated historic barn at the world-famous Binna Burra Lodge. This event will bring fire-cooked flavour to the table—think smoked brisket, grilled corn and wild greens. For a change of pace, take a scenic drive through to Sarabah Estate or O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards, for a leisurely lunch paired with local wines.

The ultimate Saturday session awaits at the new Spirit of the Mountain (SOLD OUT) event at Cauldron Distillery (just down the road from Loborn). Start with a Welcome to Country from the Wangerriburra people, then enjoy a sunset picnic, live tunes from Aussie songmaker Ben Lee and local Brett Gannon, delicious food truck fare and local spirits.   • Tacos & Tipples at Witches Falls Winery brings together live music, 25 local beer and wine options and mouthwatering tacos from Scenic Rim Food Ambassador Josue Lopez—perfect for a Sunday sesh with friends.
  • High Tea & Cocktails in the Rainforest (SOLD OUT) at Pethers is an elevated, elegant way to toast the weekend.
  • Feast over Flames (SOLD OUT) is an open-flame long lunch at Beechmont Estate, where seasonal produceand thoughtful storytelling come together in a stunning fire-cooked finale. With views!
  • Rounding out the four is the Longest Lunch at O’Reilly’s, a lavish creekside feast with bottomless drinks and live music among great company. Spectacular!
