Winter Solstice Campfire Cookout

Sun 21 June @ 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm

Book Now

Families are invited to enjoy a magical country evening at Frost Farm. Gather around the campfire with Birdwings Forest School for a cosy, hands-on experience. Children and adults work together to cook a shared meal using seasonal produce, including warm damper and a sweet fire-cooked dessert, embracing the simple joy of cooking outdoors.

While the food cooks, explore the paddocks and the creek-side nature play adventure playground, or join in nature crafts such as whittling, weaving, and other creative projects.

A highlight of the evening is crafting lanterns, which are then carried on a gentle twilight lantern walk, filling the farm with glowing lights and festive spirit. As darkness falls, everyone returns to the fire to hear a story, bringing the solstice night to life with imagination, connection, and the magic of the Scenic Rim bushland.
